Just like purchasing a good quality and reliable watch doesn't necessarily mean that we have to pay high prices, it applies to replacement straps too. Because buying a new strap for my Christopher Ward chronograph was going to cost me about 80 euros for any leather model, being on a budget I decided to look around on the internet. Like many searches this took a while before finding the right product at an affordable price. Then I found NorteSpring by chance and it answered all my wishes with the additional pleasure of purchasing from a Portuguese business. My choice was a padded vintage-appearance dark brown leather (20mm) strap fitted with a beautiful stainless steel buckle. Their ethos is to provide standard sizes straps of good quality and manufacture at very attractive price points. They have an excellent choice but not too many so you don't get lost in taking a decision. They offer you a selection of buckle finishes at no extra cost and the pins were provided with the tool to help mount your strap, at no extra cost. The strap arrived by normal CTT post in no time, packed in it's presentation wallet and in a padded envelope. Standard postage for continental Portugal was included. NorteSpring provided an excellent and reliable service, that also included swift reply to a few questions I had submitted via Whatsapp. The strap is beautiful and exactly as presented on their website. There is nothing to complain about, their site has a great flow and provides good pictures and information. I am just very pleased with the product and the experience. Highly recommended.
